The beautiful Parish of St. Mary is located in Wrentham Massachusetts.
Our director of music, Alex Kuznezov, is an accomplished musician serving the Archdiocese of Boston as a choral director, musician, composer, teacher, and Music Minister for over 20 years. To his credit, Alex's compositions are published by Resource Publications and Oregon Catholic Press and has cataloged six CD recordings as a member of the Liturgical vocal group With Faith. The group has performed at concerts, youth conventions and workshops throughout New England and were one of the featured groups annually at the LaSalette Summer Concert Series as well as their CoffeeHouse Concerts in Attleboro, MA. Their song "The Peace of Killarney" received extensive air-play on numerous Irish-radio programs and the group had many appearances on Boston Cathloic Television. Alex wrote, directed, and scored the musical stage production of "Come Follow Me" in 2001, which received wonderful reviews from Boston Herald collumnist- Beverly Beckham. Alex also wrote the musical "Emmaus" in 2006 which was performed at St. Mary's Church.

We would like to welcome our newly appointed pastor Fr. George Hines who will take over as of May 1. We'd like to thank Father David Goodrow for his brief tenure. We all wish him well in his next assignment in the Archdiocese. Father George comes to us from Immaculate Conception in Malden. I'm sure we are all in for some exciting times at our wonderful parish.

I can't tell you how often someone asks me after Mass .."Who was playing the organ?" Or..."Is my guitar somehow hooked up to the organ?"
Well..... for those interested musicians out there.......
The music that you hear at our liturgies incorporates a unique blend of analog and digital instrumentation. My set up consists of a Roland-ready Ovation and Godin 6 string guitar, an Ovation 12 string, routed through a Roland Gr-33 and GI 20 digital interface patched into and thru a Roland JV2020 synth module. The signals are split, with the analog passing through a Roland AD-3 Acoustic Processor and into an Alesis 3630 compressor while the digital is routed through the Alesis 3630 compressor. Both signals then pass through a BBE 862 Sonic Maximizer and Behringer Virtualizer, routed to a Spirit Folio12 channel mixer. This sound is absolutely perfect for a church setting! It can create a soft instrumentation (piano & or strings with a choir), perfectly balanced set "behind" the vocals..... or it has the strength of a pipe organ for all majestic processionals and recessionals.
